God’s Word Is Your Shield!

‘He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; HiGs Truth shall be your SHIELD and buckler’ (Psalm 91:4).

God’s Word is our sure foundation!  ‘Shield’ is nothing but His Truth –Word of Faith!  Paul said in Ephesians 6: 16, ‘ABOVE ALL, taking the Shield of Faith with which you will be able to quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked one.’  In Romans 10: 8 Paul said, ‘but what does it say? ‘The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart’ (that is the Word of Faith which we preach).’

Use the Word as your shield because the enemy attack your thoughts.  Shield yourself with the Word of Faith.  It is your shield.  We are in the New Testament.  We are not under the Law of Moses.  We are New Creations in Christ Jesus.  In Christ we dwell.  In Christ we live and move and have our being.  We no longer seek protection outside the Word of God.  We are asked to use the Truth as our shield. 

If God’s Word is the Truth which is our shield then how do we use this shield?  God framed the worlds by His Words.  God said, ‘let there be light! And there was light’.  He said and it came to being.  Jesus Christ rebuked the wind and silenced the storm by saying : ‘Peace be still’ and it was still.  When we speak the Word against the devil, God’s Word become a shield in our hand and quench the fiery darts of the enemy. 

Never ignore God’s Word! Never under estimate the power of God’s Word.  It is a Weapon in our mouth and a hiding place for us.  Prov 18:10 says, ‘The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.’  Not merely saying I am protected but speak the Word!  ‘I am In Christ’, ‘I am safe’ ‘He is my Shield’.  Let not the Word of God depart from your mouth!  Confess it consistently!  Announce it regularly! Declare against the enemy and attack him!  Shield yourself by speaking His Word! 

God’s Word is our invisible shield but a threatening weapon to the devil!  He flees when you declare the Word by faith!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for Your Word in our heart and in our mouth!  Your Word is our Life and our shield.  As we declare Your Word by faith we are shielded!  Thank Your for this great weapon!  We are divinely protected on every side.  In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.

You Are The Solution To Your World!

‘For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.’ (2 Cor 4: 6-7)

We are the light to the world!  We are in this world to give hope to the hopeless, minister comfort, healing and life.  We are different because we have the treasure in us to be a light to our world.  We have the cure for any incurable diseases!  The Life of God in us dematerialize the cancer and dispels the forces of darkness!  We are not of this world for  we live above hopelessness, fear, sickness, satan and poverty in this world!  We are living for a divine purpose in this world.  The Life in us is the Light that shines through us gives light to the people in the darkness.

We are Life-givers to the lifeless people in this world!  We are the reservoirs of His Life!  He who believes in the Son has Life – Eternal Life!  Wherever you are is where God want you to be the solution!  Don’t look around! The Source of Wisdom is in you to guide the spiritually blind people.  Give the Living-water to the one who thirsts and heal the broken hearts.  Don’t live for yourself for the Life you carry is a selfless Life!  He gave His All and His best for us!  

Your world is looking for solutions!  Nothing is impossible to those who believe in God!  If you believe you will do the things Jesus did and greater than that you will do!   We are well watered garden to water others; planted by the rivers of water to be fruitful to impact our world! The Light of Life in me is the answer to my world!

Speak the Word of Life to give a meaning for the young generations! Set the bound and the addicted free! We are the Light of the World!  We are the hope to this world!  Preach the Good News of Jesus Christ!  Tell your world – they are forgiven and accepted as they are! Jesus Christ has paid the price for them; no more religious rituals or condemnation in Christ! Declare to your world ‘believe in the Son of God and Receive the New Life!

Revelation of His Love!

‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

Paul’s above writings are not ordinary or to be taken lightly!  These words are divine unctions  and inspired revelations he received from God.  An Apostle, a Man of God, who uttered such words, verifies the revelation he had of the Love of God!  No wonder he prayed for all the saints in Eph 3: 14-19, ‘For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God’..

His Love surpasses human wisdom and knowledge.  No man can quench or destroy the Love of God!  His Love melts any callous hearts.  His Love for us took Him to the cross!  His Love in us constrains us to endure hardships, enables us to forgive those who wronged us; empowers us to pull the lost heading towards hell and gives you the courage to stand in the gap for the lost!  What a great and awesome is the Love of God!  It is not an accident you are reading this!  God is talking to you!  His Faithful, Holy Love is overwhelming you now…

Don’t reject or look away! Human love failed you and you are vexed and hurt!  Human Love can not satisfy you.  This precious Love will never fail you!  You cannot run away from His Love! You prayed for something and expected God for a miracle.. but nothing happened!  You are disappointed with God!  He is saying: ‘What I did for you is for your eternal purpose! I want to give you the very BEST!   Have I not spared My Son to die for you on the cross, will I not give you what is best?’

This is your time to re-commit yourself to God!  Just come back to Him as you are!  God’s Love prevails above All! We are more than conquerors through HIM WHO LOVED US!

Dear Heavenly Father, I am sorry I have messed up! I am far from you but you are not!  I surrender all to you.  You are my life and my everything.  Guide my spirit and lead me to what you want me to be. Help me to rise up to the destiny You have prepared for me.  I trust in Your Faithfulness and Your Unfailing Love for me!  In Jesus’ Name Amen.

The Name Of Jesus Christ!

‘That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confes that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER’ (Phil 2:10-11).

The Name of Jesus Christ is above all names, whether sickness, incurable diseases or the elements of the world!  His Name is named upon us!  He is the Lord of our life which means, spirit, soul and body and every detail, welfare of our life! It is not the information which releases the power but the revelation knowledge of this Wonderful Name named upon you!  He is in charge; He is in control!  The more you know Him and fellowship with Him, you will end up in the arena of the ‘miraculous’.  You will flow in the realm of the miraculous!   Miracles are common in your world.

On the way to the temple for prayer Peter and John used this Powerful Name of Jesus Christ.  Acts 3: 2-8, ‘And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.’  Not because Peter was an Apostle he performed that miracle but the revelation he had with the Person Jesus Christ.  He said, ‘silver and gold I do not have, BUT WHAT I DO HAVE I GIVE YOU’.  It is more than the Name! He is talking about the anointing behind this Name! 

Peter had a revelation of the Greatest Treasure he had in him above any precious things of this world!  The Name of Jesus Christ is above all!  May He be exalted in your life and through you!  Don’t just use this Name but know the Person Jesus Christ!  What challenge do you face today!  Are you facing giants or mountains before you? Meditate this Great Name above every giants or mountains!  To this Name every sickness, giants, mountains have to bow!  Devil knows that!  James 2:19, ‘you believe that there is One God. You do well.  Even the demons believe – and tremble!  So don’t be afraid of the giants, demons or the forces of darkness.  Jesus said in Mark 16:17-18 – ‘And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

God has given you and me this Name : JESUS CHRIST!  What are you doing with this Name?  Rise up and heal the sick and deliver the captives.   Bring a change to your world!  You are not ordinary! You are called to wield this Name to do the impossible!  You  can not sit quiet! 

The Revelation of the Person Christ in you is the realm of the miraculous! You will flow unconsciously in this anointing touching the lives in your world! GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU THAN who is in the world! Walk in this consciousness!

Look Unto Jesus!

‘Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God’(Hebrews 12:2)

The Amplified translation of the above verse says: ‘looking away (from all that will distract) to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith (giving the first incentive for our belief) and is also its Finisher..’ Jesus is our prime focus in our daily life.  Looking at our circumstances weakens our faith.  In the Bible we read about Abraham who faced the same problem as we are today.

Go with me to Gen 15: 1-6, ‘After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!” And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.’ 

Abraham received promise after promise but nothing happened.  Finally, he said, ‘look God you have not given me a child as you promised’.  Abraham showed God his barrenness but God showed him where to focus.  God said, ‘look NOW toward the heavens and count the stars – if you are able to number them’.   God reminded Abraham to focus on Him who is able to do the impossible’. 

Look away from all your distractions and  look unto Jesus!  It may be temptations, or hopeless situations or financial needs.  But NOW LOOK UNTO JESUS!  In the book of Psalm 121:1-2 says, ‘I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.’  Are you wondering who is going to help you?!  Have you forgotten your True Resource of your life? Look unto Jesus in your prayer from where your help comes from. He is the One who supplies Your ALL needs.

Are you feeling guilty that you have failed God?  No! you are looking at the wrong things;  your flaws, failures and short-comings.  Look at the One who called you, separated you from this world, foreordained you and called you by your name.  He is faithful regardless of your unfaithfulness!  He is perfect who is perfecting you and will bring it to completion till His return.  So cheer up my friend!  He will never fail you or forsake you!  He will never let you down!  You can trust Him and look to Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who is my life, the author and the finisher of my faith. He is my true source and all I need.   I place my trust in Him!  My help, support and supplies comes from You alone!  Thank You.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Grace Of God Beautifies You!

‘And of His fullness we have all received, grace for grace.  For the Law was given through Moses, but Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ’ ( John 1:16-17).

We are saved by Grace and through faith.  Grace of God is more than ‘unmerited favor’.  About Jesus we read in the Gospel Book of Luke 2:52, ‘Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.’  Understanding what ‘Grace’ is very important.  Paul used this Word ‘Grace’ in His letters to the saints; to greet and end the letter by ‘the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all’. Amen. 

Grace brings acceptability in our life.  We are accepted by God as we are.  This Grace brings acceptability where we were once rejected.  Grace manifests in the times of challenges and sustains us.  Grace brings divine favors in our lives. As a child of God we are born with divine favor.  Whether it is your interview or getting a contract, this Grace brings favor in your way.  Grace brings promotion!  We may not be qualified but Grace elevates you where in the natural you can never attain or achieve that position.  Grace works beyond human comprehensions!

Paul wrote in 1 Cor 15:10, ‘but by Grace of God I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, YET NOT I, BUT THE GRACE OF GOD WHICH WAS WITH ME.’   He related ‘Grace’ as : ‘by Grace’, ‘Grace toward him’  ‘Grace which was with him.  We understood from his writings that he had deeper insights in the things of God.  He understood what Grace is and grew in the knowledge of Grace and took advantage of that Grace in his daily life.  He realized the power of Grace that enabled him to labor more abundantly than others.  That made him outstanding from other apostles and believers.

Peter in his epistle wrote in 2 Peter 3:18, ‘..grow in Grace’.  Grow in the knowledge of the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ which works towards you and by its power you live everyday.  Grace enables you to do what you can not do in the natural.  Walk in this consciousness everyday.  Grace has come and we are the product of His Grace.  His Grace is sufficient for us!  Grace is not a word you quote as a formula in your prayer, but relate with it and walk in the revelation knowledge of its power working in you. Grace enables you to flow and glow! Grace relieves you from struggles and whining! Grace beautifies you and makes you unique among the crowd!  Let us grow in the knowledge of this Grace! Grace is the Person Jesus Christ Himself and it is one of His Virtue!

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for Your Grace.  We are where we are by Your Grace.  Help us grow in the knowledge of Your Grace everyday and walk in the consciousness of its power working in us and through us.  We are highly favored, accepted and enjoy the blessings of Grace for we have received grace for grace of Your fullness. Get Rid Off That Poverty Mentality!

‘for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for  your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich’ (2 Cor 8:9).

The Bible says, ‘as a man thinks in his heart so is he’ (Prov 23:7).  We are rich in Christ because He was rich yet for our sake He became poor that through His poverty we might become rich.  The Amplified version says, ‘..He became (so very) poor, in order that by His poverty you might become ENRICHED (ABUNDANTLY SUPPLIED).  First change your thinking no matter what your situation is; lack or financial crisis you are facing.  You are motivated by your crisis to speak lack and poverty.  Your poverty mentality keeps you poor and broke.

In Christ, we lack nothing.  Start to believe and speak it regardless of what you see or feel.  Because what you believe is what you say, and what you say is what you get.  This is a Spiritual Law.  Jesus explained that in Mark 11: 22-23, ‘so Jesus answered and said, to them, ‘Have faith in God.  For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS.’   Your heart and your mouth are connected here.  What you believe and say is what you get. 

Rise above your situation and start to believe the reality of what God’s Word is saying.  Believe that you are abundantly supplied and you  want nothing.  Believe and receive them by saying what God has said.  God’s blessings are received by faith but activated by our words.  What you say is what you get!  Your words can keep you in poverty or in abundance!  Reject poverty and refuse to be poor! God will supply all your need ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY by Christ Jesus.
