In Christ We Are Victorious Everyday!

Now, thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place’ (2 Cor 2:14).

The opening verse started with the word ‘NOW’; which means this very moment as you read this, regardless the situation and challenges you may be facing; God is the One who leads you to triumph over them for we are the trophies of Christ’s victory.   He leads us to triumph over every challenge and every adversity.  God does this by the Holy Spirit who lives in us.  It is one of the ‘New Creation Realities’.  Today, with this confidence you can face every challenge comes your way.  You will witness the victories of Christ in your life daily, if you ONLY BELIEVE and walk in this consciousness everyday.

The Bible says in the book of Ezekiel 36: 27 (AMP), ‘And I will put My Spirit within you and CAUSE you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them.’  The Prophet Ezekiel prophesied about the forth-coming New Testament believers’.  This verse refers to us - the New Creations in Christ!  His Spirit is in us and He will cause us to walk in His Truth.  I want you to take a moment to meditate the above verse and believe that He will accomplish that in your life.  A Christian can not live a victorious life without the help of the Holy Spirit.  That is why Jesus said, ‘I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, and He may abide with and (in) you forever..’ (John 14:16).

The Holy Spirit in us will lead us victoriously everyday.  He will lead us in the paths of victory.  Philippians 2:13 (AMP) says, ‘not in your own strength, for it is God who is all the while effectually at work IN YOU (energizing and creating in you the power and desire), both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.’  What a privilege and what an encouragement this brings to our lives. So, cheer up!    Stop struggling and start trusting in the One who energizing and creating the desire in you and gives you the power to please God.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, remember, you are victorious and triumphant in Christ!  Thank God for the Holy Spirit and His ministry in us! Appreciate His work and declare today : ‘I am victorious in Christ! Ask God to help you everyday and trust in His Power to accomplish that in your life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Pray with me:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit who abides and works in me to accomplish all You require in my life. I refuse to struggle but trust in Your Spirit who enables me and cause me to walk in Your Truth.  Now, thanks be to God, who ALWAYS cause me to triumph in Christ and through me diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. I am victorious today and everyday in Christ.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

GOD HAS BEGUN A GOOD WORK IN YOU!

‘and I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing (that good work) and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you’ (Philippians 1:6) (AMP).

How refreshing and encouraging is the above opening verse! God’s above statement is so profound and awesome! God is good and His works are good!  His work begun in us is good! Make no mistake about it! Above all, His character is revealed in here – His FAITHFULNESS!  What He begun, He will surely bring it to completion!  How long?  Regardless of your short comings and failures? Yes! Not just today! Not for a month! Not for a year! UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST’S RETURN! Wow! Hallelujah!

He will continue to develop and perfect what He has begun in you till His return! Be confident of His work in you! Amen! Remember! He is FAITHFUL! Trust Him wherever you are in your journey.  Trust in His genuine and perfect work accomplished everyday in your life.  His work in you will affect your life and cause you to be productive and be fruitful in all you do!  His Love for you is deeper and so great!  Stop struggling!  Believe and acknowledge His work in you! Thank Him for His faithfulness!

Take time to think about His faithfulness! Go to His word which expresses His faithfulness and meditate them.  Let your entire personality depend on His faithfulness! Paul wrote in 2 Cor 3:5, ‘not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and SUFFICIENCY are from God.’ Amen!

Pray with me:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Faithfulness which is mightily working in me.  How great is Your Faithfulness Lord! I am fully convinced and confident in Your Faithfulness to perfect and bring to full completion the good work which You have begun in me till the return of Christ.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Act On God’s Word!

But be doers of the Word (obey the message), and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves (into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth)’ (James 1:22).

God’s Word is The Truth and it should be the final authority in our lives as well.  We receive it with meekness; James wrote in his book 1:21, ‘therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls’.  Our opening verse says that we are deceiving ourselves by reasoning contrary to the Truth.

Remember, blessed are those who are consistent in listening to God’s Word and act on the word.  James wrote that in the same chapter 25th verse, ‘but he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the word, this one will be blessed in what he does.’  Without meditating God’s Word it is not possible to act on the Word.  God said, ‘this Word should not depart from your mouth but you will meditate on it day and night so that you may observe to do all that is written in it…’(Joshua 1:8).   He who looks into the perfect Law (which is the Word of God) is meditating the Word; contemplate the message in your heart.

Let God’s Word reign and take mastery over  your life.  Let it be your comfort and light to your path.  Allow God’s Word to minister to you.  Whether it may be an instruction to do something or to avoid something, or a pre-warning for your life; incline your ears to the message and act on the Word.  You ACT on the Word because you trust Him and you love Him.  Don’t do because you have to which is religion.  God’s Word is Life and strength to you.  It will keep you from the evil one.

Pray with me

Dear Heavenly Father, I receive Your Word with all meekness.  Let Your Word abide in my heart in all wisdom to guide me and keep me from the evil one.  In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Divine Programming!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service.  And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God’ (Rom 12:1-2).

Your mind can be programmed for success, favor and ‘all things are possible’ mentality.  On the contrary our minds are programmed by what we see, feel or hear.  We speak sickly languages.  We talk worry, fear, death, doubt and anything contrary to God’s Word.  God told Joshua to meditate  His Word day and night.  He told him not to let His  Word depart from his mouth.  God’s Word is the material we can use to program our minds.  Our minds are programmed by His Word as we spend time in studying and meditating His Word.

God’s Word brings faith, life, encouragement and gives you power to do what you can not do in the natural.  Take a survey of what kind of words you speak everyday.  If we speak like ‘this sickness is killing me’  or ‘I will never make it’ or ‘I catch cold’ or ‘I am broke and bankrupted’  then that is what you get.  We are the children of Faith who see things through His Word not by our sensory perceptions.  We are superior to devil, sickness, poverty, fear and sin.   God has given us the Name of Jesus to heal the sick and cast out the devils.  We are bold as a lion.  We are walking in the abundance of God and we lack nothing.   We are dead to sin and alive to God; alive to righteousness.  Sin shall not have dominion over us.  We overcome the World because greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world.  Remember! Death and life are in the power of your tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Prov 18:21).

God’s Word gives you a mindset.  It changes your vocabulary and your language. Once it takes mastery over your life then you will speak faith-filled words.  You will energize and charge your atmosphere with power.  You will take advantage in the Name of Jesus over every negative circumstance.  God’s Word program your mind and gives you a mindset of the righteous.

Confession:

God’s Word in my mouth is living and active to speak life, power and strength. I speak His Word and take authority over every negative circumstance.  My mind is programmed for success through His Word.  My success is guaranteed because I meditate on His Word.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Walk In The New Creation Realities!

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he IS A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; BEHOLD (SEE) all things have become NEW’ (2Cor 5:17).

Behold!  All things have become NEW!  You see yourself as child of God through the perspective of this Scripture! You are not that old person but a NEW in CHRIST.  You may not look like it on the outside but the real you is the spirit-man who is born again.  Anything you do or see from God’s perspective and not from your perspective or how others see or describes you.

In Christ you are righteous.  It is not your righteousness or by your works you attain it.  you are righteous through faith in Jesus Christ; for the Bible says in Rom 3:21,22, but now the righteousness  of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to ALL AND ON ALL WHO BELIEVE.  For there is no difference.’  You are righteous through faith in Jesus Christ.  This is one of THE foundation Truth we should believe and walk in the consciousness of His righteousness working in us.  This understanding will give you boldness and confidence in your prayer life.  In Christ you are not a sinner forgiven from all your sins but a New Creation through His resurrection!

Go through the scriptures talks about ‘the righteous’ in the Old Testament and the New Testament and confess them and declare over your life.  Few examples are below for you to personalize and confess, but you can do a personal study and proclaim those scriptures daily in your life because that is who you are!

In the book of Proverbs 10th chapter, 14 times it is mentioned about the ‘Righteous’.  We can personalize them and confess like this:

1.      I am delivered from death (v2)
2.      My soul will not be famished (V3)
3.      I am Blessed (V6)
4.      Memory of Righteous is blessed (V7)
5.      My mouth is a well of Life (V11)
6.      My labor leads to Life (V16)
7.      My tongue is wholesome and it is a tree of Life (V20)
8.      My lips feed the multitudes (V21)
9.      My desires are granted (V24)
10.  My hope is gladness (V28)
11.  I will not be moved (V30)
12.  I speak godly wisdom  (V31)
13.  My lips knows what is acceptable (V32)

The more you start to walk in the consciousness of the righteousness of God in you, the more you experience the liberty and enjoy the blessings of God.  Because Jesus said: ‘…you will have whatever you say’ (Mark 11:22)Believe what God has said about you and start to walk in the reality of that Truth.

Confess with me :

I am the righteousness of God in Christ;  His righteousness in me gives me the ability to do right and live right.  Thank You Father for the Gift of Your Righteousness which is working in me.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

You Are Born With His Nature & Features

‘but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.  Against such there is no law’ (Gal 5:22-23).

In our opening verse the word ‘spirit’ is capitalized in the Bible.  So in the churches they teach that the Holy Spirit is the One who produces these fruits.  Jesus never said that the Holy Spirit produces the fruit.  Also notice, ‘the fruit of the spirit’ not fruits of the spirit.  Jesus said in John 15: 1,5 ‘I am the True Vine..you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in Him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.’  Galatians 5:22-23 is the fruit of the re-created human spirit, the bornagain ones. It is the branch that produces the fruits and the Holy Spirit enables the branches.

Biologically we are born with the nature and features of our parents.  But the Bible says in John 1: 12-13, ‘but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become  the children of God to those who believe in His Name; who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.’  As the children of God get to know who you are in Christ and what you have in Christ through studying God’s Word.  You are not trying to love someone but you have God’s Love in your heart to walk in His Love according to (Romans 5:5); you are not asking God for patience but you have his nature to show patience; you have self-control in you; so you have to use it.
If you buy a new mobile the first thing you do is check all the features and start to use them because they are there to serve your purpose.  As a child of God you are born with His nature and features.  Cultivate them, develop them and flow in them.  Now the Holy Spirit is the One who guide you into all the Truth will enable you to walk in them.  Every good thing is in you.

Naturally, children never learn to lie but they lie; spiritually you are designed to love because you are born of Love.  As a new creation in Christ you will walk in love because it is your nature to love.  You have joy inside you so you can choose to be joyful. You have peace of God in you so you can let His peace reign and rule you .  As you find out what is in you, believe and start to walk in them.  This is where meditating God’s Word comes.  You renew your mind through the Word of God according to Rom 12: 1-2.  In the book of Philemon 1:6 says, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of EVERY GOOD THING WHICH IS IN YOU IN CHRIST JESUS.’

As a child of God take advantage of every good thing in you.  Don’t strive or struggle but abide in the True Vine.  Paul said in the book of Philippians 2:12-13, ‘therefore my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.’

Pray with me :

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for every good thing in me.  Enlighten the eye of my understanding to know the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in me and to experience what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe according to the working of Your mighty power which You worked in Christ.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Follow The True Light

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the Light of the world.  He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of Life’ (John 8:12).

This True Light is Jesus Christ alone! He was The Word in the beginning made ALL things and in Him was Life and the Life was the light of men.  This Light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.  That was The True Light which gives light to EVERY MAN coming into the world (John 1:1-5,8).  Follow the True Light means follow The Light of Life – THE WORD OF GOD.

We walk in darkness when we are not walking in love (1 John 2:9-11).  We walk in darkness when we walk in fear, anxiety, worry, confusion, doubt and unbelief.  Because they are the forces of darkness and they blind fold your understanding.  As children of The True Light, we walk in love; we walk by faith without fear, anxieties, worry or unbelief.  These forces are in this world but they cannot prevail or comprehend us when we walk in the Light of God’s Word.

God wants His children to walk in the True Light of His Word.  Let the Light of Life enter in every area of your life. Because the entrance of His Word gives Light (gives discernment, understanding) (Psalm 119:130).  ‘the entrance and unfolding of Your Words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple’ (Psalm 119:130 AMP).  If you want to gain discernment and comprehension then  First, let your thinking be renewed through meditating God’s Word.  God’s Word gives you the mindset of a righteous.  Second, confess His Word when the forces of darkness come against you.  Dispel them by declaring what God has said.  Third, with all caution and watchfulness guard your heart by retaining God’s Word in your heart.  Memorize the Scriptures and mutter them and be ready always like a soldier to attack his enemy.  Joshua 1:8 says, ‘This Book of the Law (for us the Word of God) shall not depart from your mouth; but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success’.

Confession

I have the Light of Life in me.  I will not stumble or the forces of darkness prevails me.  His Word in my mouth is Life and Spirit, Living and Active to dispel every forces of darkness comes against me.  I am an overcomer and more than a conqueror through Christ who loved and gave His life for me. Thanks be unto God who gives me victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen.
