‘and I am convinced and sure of
this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the
day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing (that good
work) and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you’ (Philippians
1:6) (AMP).
How refreshing and encouraging is the above
opening verse! God’s above statement is so profound and awesome! God is good
and His works are good! His work begun
in us is good! Make no mistake about it! Above all, His character is revealed
in here – His FAITHFULNESS! What He
begun, He will surely bring it to completion!
How long? Regardless of your
short comings and failures? Yes! Not just today! Not for a month! Not for a
year! UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST’S RETURN! Wow! Hallelujah!
He will continue to develop and perfect what He has
begun in you till His return! Be confident of His work in you! Amen! Remember!
He is FAITHFUL! Trust Him wherever you are in your journey. Trust in His genuine and perfect work
accomplished everyday in your life. His
work in you will affect your life and cause you to be productive and be
fruitful in all you do! His Love for you
is deeper and so great! Stop struggling! Believe and acknowledge His work in you!
Thank Him for His faithfulness!
Take time to think about His
faithfulness! Go to His word which expresses His faithfulness and meditate
them. Let your entire personality depend
on His faithfulness! Paul wrote in 2 Cor 3:5, ‘not that we are fit (qualified
and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim
or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and SUFFICIENCY
are from God.’ Amen!
Pray with me:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Faithfulness which is
mightily working in me. How great is
Your Faithfulness Lord! I am fully convinced and confident in Your Faithfulness
to perfect and bring to full completion the good work which You have begun in
me till the return of Christ. In Jesus
Name. Amen.
