Your ETERNAL Source Is GOD!

‘The Lord is my Shepherd (to feed, guide, and shield me), I shall not lack.’(Psalm 23:1 AMP)

King David who experienced the provisions of God wrote this.  His eyes were fixed on the Great Shepherd! Under His care he enjoyed a restful life.  He was refreshed and restored when he was wearied.  Valley of death could not dread him because David pictured God as His Shepherd rest assured of His protection.  Even in the midst of his enemies he declared that God will prepare a table, a table of honor, power, favor and success.

We are the righteousness of God in Christ; right standing with God without a sense of guilt, condemnation, shame or fear.  We are IN CHRIST!  We are blessed and abundantly supplied.  We lack no good thing; we never lack because God is our source.  For God will supply ALL our needs ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY AND NOT ACCORDING TO YOUR BUSINESS AND JOB! (Phil 4:19).  You may not have enough bank balance or no job! But cheer up my friend!  We are living in His Kingdom where there is no lack, recession or famine.

See yourself dwelling in His Kingdom! The Bible says in Colossians 1: 13, ‘He (God) has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love.’  Declare I am walking in His divine supply!  There is no poverty or famine in the Kingdom of Jesus! Live from there!

What you see is what you become!  What you believe is what you say and what you say is what you get.  Never speak lack!  Speak Life! Speak God’s Word over your life and others! Speak Life over your situation.  God’s Word comes to your spirit.  David was a young shepherd boy.  When he was not yet become a king, he saw God as His Shepherd and sang about His provisions and experienced His abundance in His life.

Be Aware Of His Life In You!

‘He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life’ (1 John 5:12)

What does it mean by ‘he who has the Son has Life?’  John wrote that in the Gospel book chapter 3:36, ‘He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.’  We who believe in the Son have Everlasting Life, Eternal Life.  This Life will not keep you sick or poor.

This is the ‘Abundant Life’  Jesus was talking about in John 10:10, ‘The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’

Be conscious of His Life in you.  Acknowledge and believe that you have Eternal Life.  Know more about this Life in you.  I sum up here some of the great privileges of  having this Life.

We are Overcomers! 1 John 4: 4, ‘You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.’ We overcome the challenges of this world! We overcome any tribulations or hardship we may encounter in this world! Foreseeing this overcoming life we New Testament believers are going to enjoy, Jesus said in John 16: 33, ‘These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”  We are overcomers because of the Greater One lives in us! Amen!

 at
We are More Than Conquerors in this world! Rom 8:37, ‘Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’ In all these things? Rom 8: 35 listed these things: ‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?’ None of these things shall separate us from the love of God.

Eternal Life Preserve you and keep you sound and healthy.  This Life is flowing in you; works in every fibre of your being; every bone of your body and in every cell of your blood. This is the Eternal Life! The Life of God!  We are partakers of the Eternal Life. Study the Scriptures! Because of the Finished Work of Christ on the cross for us, we can enjoy wholeness, restoration in our physical spirit soul and body!

Confess Loudly:  Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world!  I have the Life of God in me.  I am an overcomer and more than a conqueror in this world.

Live A Worry-free Life - Jan 7, 2015

‘Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’ (Phil 4: 6-7)

Jesus lived that life in His earthly ministry.  He was not exempted from problems of this world.  But He was calm and took charge of every challenge He faced.  God wants us to live that kind of life as well.  We are living in a worry and fear filled world.  Jesus said, we are in this world but not of this world.(John 15:19).

We are born of God to overcome the world. ‘For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. (1John 5:4).

Refuse to worry or be anxious.  You make this choice everyday.  Be consistent and determine to program your mind to be a ‘worry-free mind’. Remember also, ‘in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God’.   If you maintain yourself this way, very soon you will find yourself calm and peaceful under pressure because the opening verse says, if you follow ‘and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’

Confess this loudly:  I refuse to worry or be anxious about anything.   I choose to live a worry-free life.  God’s peace is guarding my heart and mind.

See Yourself As God Sees You! Jan 6, 2015

‘Therefore if any person is in-grafted in Christ he IS a NEW CREATION (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away.  Behold (see!) the fresh and new has come!’(2 Corinthians 5:17)AMP

You are not what others describe you from your past failures.  You are not a failure! The opening verse says see yourself as a NEW CREATION according to God’s standpoint.  This is how God sees you in Christ which is what matters.  Your old moral and spiritual condition has passed away.  See yourself as a NEW MAN in Christ.

Reflecting yourself on this Scripture is very important.  Our spirit is bornagain and not our mind.  Your mind needed to be renewed daily through God’s Word to think and see yourself as how God sees you.  Live from this perspective and walk in the consciousness of this Truth!  Walk in the Light of this Truth!

Meditate on this Scripture and allow God’s Word to have full access in you.  Col 3:16 says, ‘let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom..’

God Sees You Differently! Jan 5, 2015

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

God saw the world differently that is why He sent Jesus to this world to save the mankind.  It is not just one community but the entire mankind!  The opening verse depicts God’s character.   So be encouraged my dear friend!  If your friends call you by funny name or your family rejected you because you are not doing so well in your studies or you are financially broke.  Let us look at a Bible character named David.
This young shepherd boy was completely forgotten by his father.  God sent Prophet Samuel to Jesse’s house to anoint one of his sons to be the king of Israel.  Jesse brought all his sons except his youngest son David who was taking care of Jesse’s sheep  Since he was young and immature probably Jesse thought he can not be qualified to be a king.  But to his and Samuel’s surprise God chose someone who is ignored and forgotten by them.  ‘For the Lord does not see as a man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’
God saw the young man David had a heart to worship the God of Israel.  Who sang and pray to God who noticed his heart rather than his outward appearance.  David was anointed in the midst of his father and his brothers! Oh what a sight that would be! No wonder he wrote in Psalm 23: 5, ‘you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.’
In Christ we are precious! We are His chosen ones, Royal priests, peculiar ones and Holy Nation.  God sees us differently in Christ.  We are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are declared righteous because Jesus took our place.  Because of His Perfect sacrifice on the cross on our behalf, we are qualified by His blood to be sons and daughters of God!
God said David is a man after His own heart!  This expression of God overwhelmed me! We are NOW the sons after His heart! You are not ignored or rejected by God!  Jesus paid a price for you.  He valued us so much that He gave His Life for us! Our Heavenly Father never hesitated to give His beloved Son for our sake.
So rejoice in God! In the presence of your enemies God is preparing a platform; a platform of success, victory, honor and dignity.  Never believe the lies of satan.  God sees you differently and not like men.
Confess this: I am God’s best; I am precious and valuable to Him.  He loves me unconditionally!

Change Your Thinking In God’s Way! January 4, 2015

Prov 23: 7 - For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.’
 For My thoughts

If you confirmed to what you see or feel in the physical realm then you conclude yourself to what they communicate with you. We are called to walk by faith (the unseen realities) and not by our senses (2 Cor 5:7).  God’s Word is His thoughts. His thoughts are beyond the natural realm.  He communicates the realities in His Word.  The Bible says in 2Cor 4:18,  ‘ .’

God looked at Abraham differently because in God’s mind Abraham will be the Father of Nations.  But Abraham’s thoughts were different.  He considered the deadness of his body and the deadness of Sarah’s womb until God changed his thinking.  We read that story in the Bible Gen 15:2-6,  ‘After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” 2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.’
After this incident Abraham started to think differently.  Paul wrote in Rom 4:17-21, 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”[d]) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”[e] 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Think in God’s way! Think in line with His Word! God’s Word is the material to renew your mind to think in God’s Way. Take time to study about the characters in the Bible who walked by faith and achieved great things.  Replace your old negative thoughts with God’s promises.   Reflect on them, mutter them, confess them loudly and speak to yourself and over your situation.  Be consistent in God’s Word and you will see the glory of God.

Thought For Today:  ‘ Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful’(Heb 10:23).

BE CONSCIOUS OF GOD’S FAVOR AND PROTECTION - January 3, 2015

‘Light is sown for the (uncompromisingly) righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in hear (the irrepressible joy which comes from CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS FAVOR AND PROTECTION)(Psalm 97:11) (AMP)

Wishing you All a Triumphant 2015!

We enter this year with lots of expectations, dreams and desires.  What God is telling us here in our opening verse is, there is an uncontrollable, confident joy for the righteous which comes from the consciousness of God’s favor and protection.  This year God is assuring you of His Favor and Protection upon you, and your family and all your loved-ones and friends.  Not because it is 2015, because of the Finished Work of Christ on the cross! Amen!
Believe it because He said so in His Word and He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL to manifest His power to those who believe what He said.  Walk everyday with this assurance!  Create an atmosphere and walk in this consciousness!  This will produce an irrepressible joy in your life regardless of your circumstances!
Refuse to fear or worry! Be assured! Irrepressible joy comes from the consciousness of His Favor and Protection! Amen. Let this be your lifestyle! Never allow the chaos of this world or your problem distracts you from this posture in Christ.
