The Author of Peace!

‘Peace I leave with you; My (own) peace I NOW give and bequeath to you.  Nor as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them afraid. (stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled)’ (John 14:27) (AMP).

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and the Author of Peace! The Bible says in Isa 9:6, ‘for unto us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father (of Eternity), Prince of Peace.’  The peace of Jesus is not what the so called ‘ world peace’ but His peace!  This peace prevails over your troubled heart and fears.  This peace enables you to reign over any pressures and challenges of this world.  This peace keeps you calm under threatening pressures of the world.  Jesus was sleeping peacefully in a stormy night while His disciples were panicked and cried out to Jesus.

Paul said in Phil 4:6,7, ‘be anxious for NOTHING, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be MADE KNOWN TO GOD; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses ALL understanding, will GUARD your HEARTS and MINDS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.’  This peace works beyond your intellect, beyond your comprehensions and surpasses all your understanding.  His peaces prevails and rules over your anxieties and worries and guard your heart and mind in Christ.

Don’t look for peace in this world or in the entertainments of this world.  You are looking for peace in the wrong places.  Look unto the AUTHOR AND THE PRINCE OF PEACE JESUS ALONE! Don’t blame people that they are stealing your peace.  It is the invisible enemy, the looser, devil that comes to steal, kill and destroy.  He will never announces before he comes.  The Bible says he is a thief (John 10:10). He comes in the form of images and pictures of fear in your mind; through the news channels and doctors reports!  Lift up the banner of Peace and refuse to be troubled or shaken by what you hear, feel or see! Don’t allow the thief to steal the peace in you.  Cast all your cares upon Him! Let your requests be known to God as mentioned in Phil 4:6.  Let His peace guard our heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

CONFESS WITH ME: I refuse to let my heart be troubled by the negative things going around in the world or by any bad reports I receive.  I refuse to fear or be anxious!.  But I let the Peace of God reign, and rule and guard my heart by casting all my cares upon Him.  The Peace of God in me prevail every contrary situation I face.  In Jesus Name. Amen.
