Good Aspiration!

‘Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead’(Phil 3:13).

Living in the past failures or loss and regrets may block our progress further.  Christian life is a progressing life.  Anything that has life will grow in the natural as well as in the spiritual.  He who has the Son of God has Life (1 John 5:12).  This Life is called in the Greek: ‘zoe’, Eternal Life.  This Life will cause you to progress and advance in your life.

Everyday is a new day for a child of God.  You can begin again because of Jesus Christ!  He came to give hope to the hopeless; He came to give life to the dead.  Don’t live in your past hurts or regrets.  God can open a new chapter today in your life.  It is possible.  In the Bible we read that Simon Peter denied Jesus three times.  His life never ended there.  Jesus knew this before told him: ‘and the Lord said, ‘Simon, Simon! Indeed, satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren’ (Luke 22:31-32).  Later we see him as the first preacher on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14).  Same with Saul who persecuted the Christians became passionate follower of Jesus Christ who wrote our opening verse. They all began again a new life by the help of His Grace which changed and transformed them to be all God wanted them to be!

Don’t brood over your past failures or losses.  Rise up from where you are and move on!  Trust in the unconditional and unfailing love of God!  Frame your future through faith-filled words.  Dream big and trust in His power to accomplish that in your life.  His Life is in you to progress and advance in your life.  ‘..but one thing I do: (it is my one aspiration): forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead’ be your aspiration too!  God’s grace will enable you to be all that He wants you to be.  Not on your strength but in Christ alone you can begin again a brand new life!

Confession:  I have the Life of God in me. His Life in me always causes me to progress and advance in my life. I refuse to live in my past failures. With Christ in me I can always begin again. God always cause me to triumph in Christ Jesus.  Therefore, I am a success not a failure!  For Greater is He that is in me that he who is in this world. In Jesus Name. Hallelujah Amen.
